*Update on the 2020 Summer Concurrent All Amateur & Youth Value Show**

 July 30, 2020

⭐️ Show Office will open at 10 AM. If you received an acknowledgement from Pat needing any additional items, please try to email those items to Pat at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
⭐️ We will be doing some maintenance in the Rodeo arena today to make it as best as we can for our exhibitors. We will have a bobcat and rock picker working the arena roughly 11:30-1:30 today. Following that maintenance will be moving some panels over with the tractor. Please feel free to utilize the coveted warm up and indoor in the meantime or school after 2 PM.
⭐️  We will have a mandatory exhibitors meeting tonight at 7 PM to go over a few procedural items for the weekend to make sure we are able to continue to have a safe and fun show. Please attend or send a representative from your barn. We meet in the courtyard near the Nelson Barn.

Again thank you all for attending the show and helping us make it a success!

We are excited to announce that we have approval to move forward with the Daffodil show provided Pierce county continues in Phase 2 or greater. In order to give the best chance of social distancing and keep everyone as healthy as possible, we will be using the outdoor Rodeo arena, weather permitting.  Michelle and Pat were at the showgrounds yesterday for a walk-through and the footing in the rodeo arena looks good. We also received feedback from several other associations who have used the outdoor arena lately and they had nothing but positive feedback from their exhibitors. The large outdoor sand arena along 176th will be used for lunging and schooling will be permitted in the covered indoor and the covered warm-up. We are also working with the facility to set up a section at the gate end of Rodeo arena to permit warm-up one class prior.

We do plan to hold trail in the covered indoor as it is a single run class and it makes it logistically easier to set up the trail course. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, we will move everyone inside.

As a reminder from our show secretary, while this is not a USEF show, if you are entering Amateur classes she will need your USEF number to confirm your amateur status. This can be added to in the amateur status field on the entry form.

We’re very excited to have a horse show and to see everyone and we appreciate your patience in this new world and new rules! Please continue to watch the Facebook page for any further updates as we approach the show. Reminder our entry deadline is July 14th.

This show will focus on youth and amateur classes along with offering introductory, non-rated classes. The introductory classes will be tailored towards exhibitors just starting their show careers. Memberships are not required for introductory and non-rated classes. This show is tailored to keep costs low and create an affordable, fun experience for all exhibitors. AHA members will earn qualifications in recognized classes but USEF memberships are not necessary.
Be on the lookout for the prize list and updates of some exciting offerings unique to this new show. Remember, points from the Daffodil Spring Show and this new show will count towards our Daffodil Year-End Highpoint awards. We hope to see you!

This show is a Region 5 qualifying show.

Attention Daffodil exhibitors:
The RV parking was left off the entry forms.  It is $30 per night as stated on the Fees page. Please include the amount in your entry total if you plan to use an RV spot.  On your email, state which nights you will be needing and the amount paid.  We will have an RV card for your vehicle window. Please be sure to display it.
