Understanding the strength of the bond between human and the Arabian horse (not to mention it’s stress relieving capabilities, which have become all the more important in today’s tentative times), the Daffodil Arabian Horse Association of Washington is dedicated to the promotion of this incredible creature.

    Daffodil Spring Show Updates!

NOTICE 4/23: Evening start times are TBD

We are excited to be just a couple weeks out from the 2021 Daffodil Spring Show April 23-25th at the Tacoma Unit, Spanaway!

If you didn't get your entries in by our deadline April 6th there is still time to enter with no penalty. Please submit entries no later than Tuesday, April 12th at no post entry fee.

Patterns will be available on the Daffodil Spring Show web page and Facebook page shortly.

After much demand, we have added warm-up classes to our schedule. Need to school a horse or perhaps you have a lesson rider wanting to get some no pressure show experience, here is your chance! Classes will be $10 each and can be added on your entry or at the show for no post entry. These are non-rated classes and will not be judged. Commands will be ran similar to a rated class.

    Show Patterns added!

We also are still seeking sponsors for our show. Sponsorships start at just $25. We also have several sponsorship packages which include advertising through social media, eblasts and arena signage.

A few updates on the facility.

The outdoor arena along 176th improvements will be completed by the unit's contractor tomorrow and will be open for use at the Daffodil Show. They are also adding some utility sand to the main arena to help with compacting along the rail and will be completed prior to our show. As always, our show management team will be diligent on working with maintenance to make sure arenas are watered and worked up to give the best footing we can for the show.

This year we also welcome a new photographer this year. We are excited to welcome Spirit of a Cowboy Images as our official 2021 photographer!

We look forward to a successful show and please check our Facebook and website, www.daffodilarabian.com, for show updates and news. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact Michelle Pease-Paulsen, Show Manager, or Shannon Bedell, Club President. See you at the show!
